Dr. Carter J. Coppinger

Owner
Dr. Carter Coppinger has a gentle touch when performing any procedure. From routine cleanings to more complex dental work, we maintain a calm and easy going attitude to make you and your family feel comfortable. Dr. Copp will always explain what procedures are best for you and your dental situation. He takes photos with the intraoral camera so you can observe the steps he is taking to restore your dental treatment.
Dr. Coppinger graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2025. He graduated from Van Meter high school in 2017, where he went to the University of Iowa and majored in biochemistry. He met his wife Layken, while in Iowa city. The two got married in 2023. They now have twin 1 year old girls and a dog named Finn.

LAUREN
Lauren began as a receptionist in 2008 while she was in high school. She worked in Colorado and then moved to Iowa in 2019. She began working as the Office Coordinator in 2021 here in Earlham.
aLEXA
Alexa began her career in 2017 in the Dental Assisting field with Dr. Apodaca. In 2019, she furthered her dental career in Dental Hygiene. She graduated from DMACC in 2021 with her Dental Hygiene degree. She very much enjoys the field of dentistry, and working with patients everyday. She has an infectious smile.
aMY
Amy graduated from DMACC college with her Dental Assisting degree in 1997. She then began her career working alongside Dr. Apodaca and has been with him ever since. In 2007, she furthered her education and became an Expanded Function Dental Assistant.
